Thanks to the hard work of the entire department, and under the supervision of Christophe Courgeau (aka Tchook), Rodolphe Zirah, and Lise Fischer, we won the award for Best Environment in a Feature Film (Emilia Perez).

For the first and probably only time ever, I saw my mentor (Tchook) in a tuxedo, giving a heartfelt speech to honor Michael Pangrazio, the artist who inspired him most ( so he’s basically my mentor to the power of two ) and whom I also imensly look up to.

We got to meet him afterward.

As a huge Star Wars fan and VFX history enjoyer I really cherish this moment.
